Bhiria City (Repoter-Pak Soch)

armed robbers looted a motorcycle, mobile phones, and cash amounting to 300,000 rupees from residents of village Jamaluddin Solangi. Upon resistance, three people were severely injured. The injured were taken to Bhiria City Hospital, where after initial medical aid, they were referred to Nawabshah Hospital.

The injured include trader Abdul Ghani Solangi, his son Shoaib Solangi, and his father Pirano Solangi. A report was filed at the Bhiria City police station, and a letter was issued for the treatment of the injured.

Regarding the incident, grain trader Abdul Ghani Solangi stated, “I run a grain business in Bhiria City. After closing my shop, I was on my way to the village via the canal path when six armed men on two motorcycles tried to stop us at gunpoint. They hit us with sticks, assaulted us, and robbed us of our CD motorcycle (2024 model), mobile phones, and 300,000 rupees in cash before fleeing.”

He further said that the police were informed, but no suspects have been arrested so far. Upon hearing the news, hundreds of villagers gathered at the hospital.

On the other hand, local dignitaries commented that lawlessness in Bhiria City and its surrounding areas is at its peak. More than 10 motorcycle robberies have occurred within a week, but the police have failed to take adequate measures for public safety.

They demanded from SSP Naushahro Feroze that SHO Bhiria City, Tahir Dayo, should be removed and replaced with another officer so that law and order can be restored.
