Body of Actress Humaira Asghar Found in Decomposed State, Family to Arrive in Karachi Today to Claim Remains
According to Medico-Legal Officer, Humaira Asghar, a preliminary examination of the body has been conducted. The body is in an advanced stage of decomposition and is not in a condition where the cause of death can be determined at this time. However, samples have been taken for DNA and chemical analysis, and the facts will become clear after the examinations.
The family is expected to arrive today to collect the body, and a statement from the father has also been released.
SHO Farooq Sanjrani stated that the deceased’s body appears to be over a month old.
Meanwhile, DIG South Asad Raza said the body might be as old as six months, as food items found in the apartment had expiry dates from 2024, and the last messages on the actress’s phone were from October 2024.
Police officials stated that actress Humaira Asghar was originally from Lahore. Attempts were made to contact her family, but her father claimed he had no contact or relationship with her.
Other family members are expected to arrive in Karachi today from Lahore to collect the remains.
According to details, Humaira Asghar’s relatives will receive her body today after traveling from Lahore to Karachi.
