In response to the rapidly growing lawlessness in Johi city and surrounding areas, political and social organization leaders, citizens, and journalists held a protest demonstration and staged a sit-in in front of Johi Police Station.

The protest was led by GDA leader Imdad Khan Leghari, SUP leader Ghulam Nabi Bahoto, Manzoor Siyal, and Sanwan Babbar.

Protesters stated that crime in Johi and its surrounding areas is at an alarming peak, with daily incidents of robbery and theft becoming routine.

They accused Johi police of being in collusion with thieves and robbers, leaving the public feeling unsafe.

All link roads leading out of the city have reportedly become hotspots for criminals, forcing citizens to stay awake through the nights in fear.

The demonstrators demanded that stolen motorcycles and other stolen items be recovered and returned to their rightful owners; otherwise, the protest movement will continue.
