A key road, constructed just a few months ago from Numaish Chowk to Gadani Phatak, has suddenly been dug up under the guise of development works, causing severe inconvenience to the public.According to local sources, the road was built recently at the cost of millions of rupees, yet it has now been destroyed without any prior notice or consultation.The situation worsened when even the Union Council Chairman was kept in the dark about the entire matter. Expressing his strong displeasure, the UC Chairman said, &#8220;Who is the Town Chairman to authorize development projects in the UC without consultation? Why weren\u2019t we taken into confidence? Destroying a public-funded road like this is blatant injustice.&#8221; Sources added that the roads in UC-1 were already in a dilapidated condition, and whatever slight relief had been provided, lasted only a few months.
