Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah arrived in Hyderabad on a one-day visit. He was accompanied by Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon and Irrigation Minister Jam Khan Shoro. Provincial Advisor Abdul Jabbar Khan and Hyderabad Mayor Kashif Shoro welcomed the Chief Minister upon his arrival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the drainage situation and stagnant rainwater at various locations, including Hyderabad Railway Station, Tulsi Das Pumping Station, Latifabad, Maki Shah Road, Fateh Chowk, Qazi Qayoom Road, and Qasimabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Deputy Commissioner of Hyderabad briefed the Chief Minister on the post-rainfall situation in the city. Later, in a press conference at the Mayor’s Secretariat, the Chief Minister stated that he came to Hyderabad specifically to assess the aftermath of the rainfall. He praised the district administration\u2019s efforts, highlighting that they successfully drained 107 millimeters of rainwater within ten hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responding to various questions, he emphasized that Hyderabad is the second-largest city in Sindh and its residents have shown trust in the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). He added that with the PPP mayor now in office, the government is actively serving the citizens. Despite resource limitations, Hyderabad remains a top priority for the PPP leadership and government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also mentioned that encroachments of eight-storey buildings on Auto Bhan Road have been removed, noting that those buildings were approved during previous administrations. He acknowledged that similar illegal constructions still exist in three other areas where encroachments have yet to be cleared. \u201cEveryone knows who contributed to the deterioration of the city,\u201d he said, adding that the trust of Hyderabad\u2019s citizens in the PPP will now bring visible improvements to the city.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
