{"id":7609,"date":"2025-07-09T11:09:42","date_gmt":"2025-07-09T06:09:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakjazbo.com\/?p=7609"},"modified":"2025-07-09T11:09:43","modified_gmt":"2025-07-09T06:09:43","slug":"youtubes-new-feature-you-probably-wont-like","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakjazbo.com\/?p=7609","title":{"rendered":"YouTube\u2019s New Feature You Probably Won\u2019t Like"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>This feature is currently available to limited users \/ File Photo<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">YouTube is the world\u2019s most popular video-sharing platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Whether you&#8217;re a free user or a premium subscriber, YouTube offers a variety of features.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, a new feature is being introduced on YouTube that many users\u2014especially those who watch YouTube Shorts\u2014may not appreciate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It goes without saying that YouTube Shorts are short-form videos similar to TikTok or Instagram Reels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These types of videos are posted in portrait mode, which is easier to view since most people naturally hold their phones that way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But with YouTube\u2019s new feature, users will now be able to watch Shorts in <strong>landscape mode<\/strong> as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a report by <em>Android Authority<\/em>, this feature is currently being rolled out to a limited number of users on Android devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, users will have the option to <strong>disable<\/strong> it by going to the <strong>Accessibility<\/strong> section in Settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once this feature is enabled, whenever your phone rotates, Shorts will also play in landscape mode.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Viewing Shorts in landscape mode may result in a poor experience, as the video will appear in the middle of the screen with blank space on both the left and right sides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, all the interface options will shift to the right side in landscape mode.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This feature is currently available to limited users \/ File Photo YouTube is the world\u2019s most popular video-sharing platform.
