However, now the <strong>Madhya Pradesh High Court has ruled in favor of the government<\/strong>, confirming the enemy property status of the family\u2019s <strong>Bhopal-based inheritance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The disputed properties include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Flag Staff House<\/strong>, where Saif Ali Khan spent his childhood<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Noor-us-Sabah Palace<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Dar-us-Salam<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Habibi\u2019s Bungalow<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Ahmedabad Palace<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kohifiza Property<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>and several others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Will Saif Ali Khan Lose \u20b915,000 Crore Property?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the High Court\u2019s ruling, <strong>Saif Ali Khan and his family may be deprived of inheritance worth \u20b915,000 crore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, the court has <strong>referred the matter of inheritance of Nawab Hamidullah Khan\u2019s properties to the trial court<\/strong>, ordering it to decide <strong>whether only Sajida Sultan and her descendants<\/strong> have legal rights or if other heirs are entitled under <strong>Muslim personal law<\/strong>. The trial court has been instructed to deliver its decision within one year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What Is the Enemy Property Act?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Enemy Property Act<\/strong> empowers the <strong>Indian central government<\/strong> to claim ownership of properties belonging to individuals who migrated to <strong>Pakistan<\/strong> after <strong>Partition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Family Background<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nawab Hamidullah Khan<\/strong>, the last Nawab of Bhopal, had three daughters. His eldest daughter, <strong>Abida Sultan<\/strong>, migrated to <strong>Pakistan in 1950<\/strong>.
