{"id":7444,"date":"2025-07-06T13:58:23","date_gmt":"2025-07-06T08:58:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakjazbo.com\/?p=7444"},"modified":"2025-07-06T13:58:24","modified_gmt":"2025-07-06T08:58:24","slug":"majlis-e-aza-and-processions-held-across-the-country-on-the-day-of-ashura","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakjazbo.com\/?p=7444","title":{"rendered":"Majlis-e-Aza and Processions Held Across the Country on the Day of Ashura"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the occasion of <strong>Ashura<\/strong>, mourning gatherings (Majlis-e-Aza) and processions are being held across the country to commemorate the eternal sacrifice of the <strong>Prophet Muhammad&#8217;s grandson, Imam Hussain (RA), and his loyal companions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>Lahore<\/strong>, the main Ashura procession started from <strong>Nisar Haveli<\/strong> inside <strong>Mochi Gate<\/strong>, and it will conclude this evening at <strong>Karbala Gamay Shah<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>Karachi<\/strong>, the main procession began at <strong>10 AM<\/strong> from <strong>Nishtar Park<\/strong> and will conclude at <strong>Husseiniya Iranian Imambargah<\/strong> in <strong>Kharadar<\/strong>, following its designated route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>Quetta<\/strong>, the central Ashura procession began from <strong>Alamdar Road<\/strong>. During this time, mobile phone and internet services were suspended, and a ban was imposed on <strong>pillion riding (double riding on motorcycles)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">9th Muharram Processions Concluded Across the Country<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>Peshawar<\/strong>, all processions of the <strong>night of Ashura<\/strong> have ended. A total of <strong>16 processions<\/strong> were taken out across the city during the night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, in <strong>Rohri<\/strong>, the historical <strong>&#8220;No Dhall&#8221;<\/strong> procession of <strong>9th Muharram<\/strong> reached <strong>Karbala Ground<\/strong> through its traditional route. Mourners will stay overnight at Karbala Ground and proceed to <strong>Shuhada Graveyard<\/strong> after <strong>Zuhrain prayers<\/strong> today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>Multan<\/strong>, more than <strong>25 processions<\/strong>, including the traditional <strong>Ustaad-Shagird Tazias<\/strong>, will be held at <strong>11 AM<\/strong>. In <strong>Gujranwala<\/strong>, the main procession will start from <strong>Imambargah Gulistan-e-Ma\u2019rifat<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In <strong>Mithi<\/strong>, the Ashura procession began at <strong>10 AM<\/strong>, while in <strong>Mirpur, Azad Kashmir<\/strong>, the central procession will start at <strong>11 AM<\/strong> from <strong>Imambargah Bait-ul-Huzn<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>administration has implemented strict security measures<\/strong>, and mobile phone services are affected in several locations.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On the occasion of Ashura, mourning gatherings (Majlis-e-Aza) and processions are being held across the country to commemorate the eternal sacrifice of the Prophet Muhammad&#8217;s grandson, Imam Hussain (RA), and his loyal companions.
