{"id":7425,"date":"2025-07-06T13:08:55","date_gmt":"2025-07-06T08:08:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakjazbo.com\/?p=7425"},"modified":"2025-07-06T13:08:57","modified_gmt":"2025-07-06T08:08:57","slug":"sukkur-police-has-finalized-a-security-plan-for-the-occasion-of-youm-e-ashura-in-light-of-potential-threats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakjazbo.com\/?p=7425","title":{"rendered":"Sukkur Police has finalized a security plan for the occasion of Youm-e-Ashura in light of potential threats."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All routes, including the main procession paths, will be blocked using barbed wire and barricades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All small and large streets connected to the processions will be completely sealed off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A single <strong>entry and exit point<\/strong> will be designated for the mourning processions, and participants will be thoroughly searched at <strong>three separate checking points<\/strong> before being allowed entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>On Youm-e-Ashura,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>2,450 police personnel<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>40 female officers<\/strong>,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rangers personnel<\/strong>, and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>3 companies of the army<\/strong><br>will remain on <strong>standby<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three <strong>major processions<\/strong> will take place on Youm-e-Ashura:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The <strong>most sensitive procession<\/strong> will emerge from the <strong>Central Imambargah Sukkur<\/strong>, pass through various streets and areas of the city, and return to the same Imambargah.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>second major and highly sensitive procession<\/strong> will begin from <strong>Karbalah Maidan in Rohri<\/strong> and conclude at <strong>Shuhada Graveyard<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The <strong>third major procession<\/strong> will emerge from <strong>Imambargah Qasr-e-Fatima in Pano Aqil<\/strong>, pass through different parts of the city and streets, and end at <strong>Maidan-e-Iraq<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In total, <strong>43 small and large processions<\/strong> and <strong>80 majalis (gatherings)<\/strong> will be held across the district on Youm-e-Ashura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Security has been made extremely strict<\/strong> for the occasion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The processions will be monitored using <strong>surveillance cameras and drone cameras<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Control rooms have been established at local sites<\/strong> for effective monitoring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Highly trained snipers from Rangers and Police<\/strong> will be deployed on <strong>high-rise buildings<\/strong> along the routes of the processions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Plainclothes intelligence officers<\/strong> will be present within the processions, forming a <strong>protective ring<\/strong> to carry out their security duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Spokesperson \u2013 Sukkur Police<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All routes, including the main procession paths, will be blocked using barbed wire and barricades.
