On the auspicious occasion of the arrival of Muharram-ul-Haram, a sacred and revered month, the administration of Manghopir Town organized an important meeting driven by the spirit of public service, religious respect, and sectarian harmony.
This significant meeting was chaired by Manghopir Town Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi at the Ramzan Goth office, with enthusiastic participation from representatives of all major departments of the city, security agencies, and religious circles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This purposeful gathering included participation from Shia and Sunni scholars, representatives of Sindh Solid Waste Management, Water and Sewerage Board, Health Department, Police, Traffic Police, rescue organizations, municipal representatives, and other concerned officials.
The presence of Manghopir Town Municipal Commissioner Agha Khaliq further added to the importance and prestige of the meeting.
The primary aim of the meeting was to develop a coordinated strategy to ensure peace and order, cleanliness, proper lighting arrangements, drainage system management, smooth traffic flow, and effective provision of public facilities during Muharram-ul-Haram.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Addressing the meeting with passion and sincerity, Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi stated:
“Muharram-ul-Haram gives us the message of sacrifice, unity, and service. During these sacred days, our top priority should be to provide every possible facility to the mourners of Imam Hussain (A.S) and the general public. We are the servants of these mourners, and serving them is a blessing for us, no less than an act of worship.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He took briefings from each department individually and issued clear directives to ensure exemplary cleanliness along the routes of processions, effective drainage arrangements, restoration of street lights, timely provision of water tankers, and availability of medical assistance.
He instructed the police and traffic police to work with full coordination for security and the smooth movement of processions, while rescue agencies were ordered to remain on high alert 24\/7.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another significant aspect of the meeting was the participation of Shia and Sunni scholars, which further strengthened the spirit of unity, inter-sectarian harmony, and religious tolerance.
Expressing their views, the scholars said that during Muharram-ul-Haram, patience, brotherhood, and adherence to the code of conduct are the true essence of success and the real spirit of faith.
This meeting stands as a shining example of an organized strategy, mutual unity, and practical solidarity, clearly reflecting that Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi is not only a capable Chairman but also a leader filled with the spirit of religious respect, public service, and social harmony. Under his leadership, Manghopir Town is emerging as a model town where faith, service, and public relief beautifully combine at every level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
