was commemorated by the Sindh Women\u2019s Movement at the Press Club in Naushahro Feroze.<\/strong>
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Salma Junejo, the central convener of the Sindh Women\u2019s Movement, strongly condemned the forced religious conversions. She said, \u201cFrom Rinkle Kumari to the recent forced conversion of four children in Shahdadpur, such incidents involving Hindus continue to surface. These are all part of the same pattern, which leads back to Mian Mithu and the state that engages in politics of hatred under the guise of religion.
We, the women of Sindh, reject this. We demand that religion be separated from the state and that equal treatment be given to all citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Salma further said that the martyrdom of Mai Bakhtawar is a source of inspiration for Sindhi women<\/strong>. \u201cBy walking in her footsteps, we can not only achieve our personal rights but also succeed in the struggle for the rights and freedom of our land. Therefore, women in Sindh should actively join the national movement.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basran Khaskheli<\/strong>, President of the Sindh Women\u2019s Movement in Moro, addressing the women, said, \u201cCome and join us, strengthen our hands, so that we Sindhi women can collectively secure not just our own rights but also national rights.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rehana Akbar Khoso<\/strong>, a fellow activist of the movement in Moro, said that women in Sindh are facing numerous problems, including the issue of gas, which directly affects their daily lives. \u201cEven in this modern era, especially in Moro, women are still forced to use firewood, dung cakes, and gas cylinders for cooking. We demand the Sindh government immediately resolve the household gas supply issue across the province.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comrade Zainab Pirzado<\/strong> said that the oppression of women in Sindh is not solely the fault of men but rather of the patriarchal system, under which not only women suffer but men also face significant oppression. \u201cSindhi women must step forward and find leadership roles for themselves to end the lack of women leadership in Sindh.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program was also addressed by Moro Women\u2019s Movement members Amber Akbar Khoso, Mahnoor Khoso, Amina<\/strong>, and others.
Meanwhile, Leela Bijal, Sassi Anees Ahmed Khaskheli, Mahjabeen Anees Khaskheli<\/strong>, and George Habash Akbar Khoso<\/strong> stirred the atmosphere with their poetry and songs.
At the end of the event, resolutions were presented and passed unanimously with raised hands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
