Israel claims to have targeted Iran\u2019s nuclear and military facilities in the attack, while Iranian media reports say that five civilians, including women and children, were also martyred and 50 others injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iran\u2019s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, has warned that the Israeli government has sealed its bitter and painful fate by launching nighttime attacks on Iran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the British news agency <em>Reuters<\/em>, Israel stated that it targeted Iran\u2019s nuclear facilities, ballistic missile factories, and military commanders on Friday, warning that this marks the beginning of a prolonged operation aimed at preventing Tehran from developing nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iranian media and eyewitnesses reported explosions at various locations, including Natanz, the site of the country\u2019s main uranium enrichment facility. In response, Israel has declared a state of emergency due to the potential threat of Iranian missile and drone attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Iran&#8217;s official news agency <em>IRNA<\/em> confirmed that Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, and Major General Hossein Salami, Chief Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, were martyred in the Israeli attack on Tehran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IRNA also confirmed the martyrdom of Iranian nuclear scientist and President of Islamic Azad University Mohammad Mehdi Tehranchi, renowned nuclear scientist and former head of Iran\u2019s Atomic Energy Organization Fereydoon Abbasi, and Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, Major General Gholam Ali Rashid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to <em>Reuters<\/em>, six Iranian nuclear scientists were martyred in the Israeli attack.
