Karachi (Report) \u2014 In view of the expected monsoon rains, Chairman of Manghopir Town, Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, conducted an emergency visit to Union Councils 14, 15, and 16, with special focus on Baloch Goth. During the visit, he personally reviewed the drainage systems, sewer cleaning, and road conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On-site, he immediately ordered cleaning operations to begin and issued strict directives to the concerned officers, stating that \u201cno negligence will be tolerated.\u201d He emphasized that his top priority is to protect the people of Manghopir Town from hardships during the rainy season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to the media, Chairman Brohi said:
\u201cOur goal is to ensure that rain remains a blessing and not a burden for the people. We have already started preparations \u2014 drains are being cleared, and cleaning efforts are being accelerated to prevent waterlogging, road closures, and inconvenience to residents.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added:
\u201cIn Manghopir Town, the work is no longer limited to reports and photographs. Real efforts are underway \u2014 street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood. I\u2019m not a representative who signs files from behind a desk \u2014 I am physically present in every Union Council, standing alongside the people.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Currently, a \u201cRain Emergency Operation\u201d is underway in all UCs of Manghopir Town. Full-scale drain cleaning, garbage removal, restoration of drainage pathways, and road repairs are being carried out with urgency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the past, Manghopir was neglected, but that won\u2019t happen anymore. We have resolved to make Manghopir a model town. Every street will be clean, and every citizen will have access to basic facilities. That\u2019s my promise!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
