PARIS: Oliver Glasner has urged Crystal Palace to \u201cgo for every single one\u201d as his FA Cup-winners celebrated their upset Wembley win over Manchester City in front of more than 20,000 fans at Selhurst Park on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rain towards the end of the Eagles\u2019 open-top bus parade through the streets of south London could not dampen the enthusiasm of Palace fans determined to revel in the club\u2019s first major trophy in its 119-year history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s very exciting, and we all will enjoy this journey, playing the Premier League, playing the Carabao (League) Cup, playing the FA Cup and playing the Europa League,\u201d Glasner said on stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cFour competitions, four titles to win, let\u2019s go for every single one,\u201d the Palace manager added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Glasner led Eintracht Frankfurt to Europa League glory in 2022, with the 50-year-old Austrian now credited with transforming Palace\u2019s mentality and ambition since arriving in south London in February 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cI couldn\u2019t be more pleased to work with a group of players like they are,\u201d added Glasner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cNot just because of their talent, they are great talents, but especially what great characters they are (and) I couldn\u2019t be more pleased to manage in a club like Crystal Palace with fans like you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWe had tough moments in this season, but you were always behind us. You always supported us, and my feeling was we were always one Crystal Palace, and that\u2019s why we could win the trophy, that\u2019s why we could succeed, so thank you very much for your support, and let\u2019s keep going like this.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Palace goalkeeper Dean Henderson, who saved a penalty in a 1-0 Wembley win over City where Eberechi Eze\u2019s goal sealed victory, said Monday: \u201cThis is for the fans. You deserve this. Enjoy it, and we\u2019ll be back next season with more, hopefully.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
