{"id":5406,"date":"2025-05-11T23:00:25","date_gmt":"2025-05-11T18:00:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakjazbo.com\/?p=5406"},"modified":"2025-05-11T23:00:27","modified_gmt":"2025-05-11T18:00:27","slug":"taylor-swift-subpoenaed-in-justin-baldoni-blake-lively-lawsuit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakjazbo.com\/?p=5406","title":{"rendered":"Taylor Swift subpoenaed in Justin Baldoni, Blake Lively lawsuit"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Hollywood actor-filmmaker Justin Baldoni\u2019s lawyer has subpoenaed US pop star Taylor Swift amid his legal battle with Blake Lively.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The \u2018It Ends With Us\u2019 costars are set to battle it out in court as a US judge has set March 2025 for the trial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Justin Baldoni last year, accusing him of sexual harassment and a smear campaign during the production of \u2018It Ends With Us.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In his counterclaim, the Hollywood actor-director accused Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for attempting to \u201cdestroy\u201d his reputation and career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Baldoni\u2019s lawyer has now subpoenaed Taylor Swift in the case over her alleged involvement in the dispute between the \u2018It Ends With Us\u2019 costars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The subpoena is part of Baldoni\u2019s lawsuit, in which he mentioned a chat with Blake Lively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the text message exchange, the Hollywood actress alludes to Taylor Swift as \u201cone of her dragons.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While Justin Baldoni did not name Taylor Swift in his defamation lawsuit, her first name appears in a text message Baldoni sent to Lively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Justin Baldoni alleged that Blake Lively summoned him to her penthouse, where Ryan Reynolds and the \u201cmegacelebrity friend\u201d praised Lively\u2019s version of the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Swift is believed to be the \u201cmegacelebrity friend\u201d referenced in the filing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reacting to the subpoena, a spokesperson for Taylor Swift denied involvement in any way in the making of \u2018It Ends With Us\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTaylor Swift never set foot on the set of this movie, she was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw an edit or made any notes on the film, she did not even see It Ends With Us until weeks after its public release, and was traveling around the globe during 2023 and 2024 headlining the biggest tour in history,\u201d as per the spokesperson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hollywood actor-filmmaker Justin Baldoni\u2019s lawyer has subpoenaed US pop star Taylor Swift amid his legal battle with Blake Lively.
