An Anti-Terrorism Court in Islamabad on Wednesday ordered the passport of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) provincial minister Meena Khan Afridi to be blocked and seized in connection with a May 9 case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meena Khan is wanted in a case registered in Islamabad over the May 9 incidents.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The court also issued non-bailable arrest warrants for the PTI leader after finding that he had deliberately remained in hiding to avoid arrest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the court’s order, proceedings to place Meena Khan’s passport on the blacklist have also been started. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The PTI provincial minister is accused of attempting to avoid investigation and arrest in the case registered against him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The court order stated that Meena Khan is a nominated accused in FIR No. 544\/24 and is deliberately absconding to evade arrest. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The court directed the relevant authorities to take action against him in accordance with the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Meanwhile, the Islamabad SSP Investigation has written to the Director General of Immigration and Passports regarding the court’s order to seize Meena Khan’s passport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
