The Islamabad High Court has approved an amendment to the Islamabad Judicial Service Rules 2011, allowing district judiciary judges to be transferred to the jurisdiction of other high courts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The amendment was approved by the chief justice of the Islamabad High Court on the recommendation of the court\u2019s administrative committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Under the amended rules, the Islamabad High Court now has administrative control over transfers of district judiciary judges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the amendment, judges serving in Islamabad\u2019s district judiciary can be transferred to the administrative jurisdiction of another high court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The government has also issued a gazette notification amending the Islamabad Judicial Service Rules 2011.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The IHC registrar has sent copies of the amendment to the presidents of the Islamabad High Court Bar Association and the District Bar Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
