Taking to Instagram, Advocate Mian Bilal shared a video featuring Rajab Butt alongside several fellow lawyers to address the controversy that erupted after a clip from Rajab’s interview went viral on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responding to the criticism, Mian Bilal argued that Rajab’s remarks had been taken out of context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He said: “Assalam-o-Alaikum, friends. Many of our lawyer brothers have raised objections over Rajab Butt’s recent interview in which he said that when he comes to court, he sees ‘black dogs.’ However, he never mentioned lawyers or black coats. Let’s hear directly from Rajab Butt what he actually meant.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rajab Butt then clarified that the viral clip circulating online had been selectively edited and misrepresented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explained: “In the vlog, I also referred to myself, and the complete clip is available. People are manipulating the statement by claiming that I called lawyers or black coats ‘black dogs.’ Astaghfirullah, I never said that. In the full video, I was referring to the haters who bark in my comment section. If any lawyer brother still feels hurt, I sincerely apologise. They are all my brothers, and I have no issue with anyone. I request everyone not to spread unnecessary misunderstandings and let people live peacefully.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Supporting Rajab’s clarification, Mian Bilal assured viewers that the complete footage would be shared with members of the legal community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He added: “We will send the complete video to our lawyer brothers. You have only heard one sentence. Watch the full clip first there is nothing inappropriate in it.
