Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz president Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has been appointed chairman of the newly constituted Lahore Heritage Area Revival Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to a notification issued by the Punjab Local Government Department, the governor of Punjab approved the formation of the board with immediate effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The notification said the board had been constituted under the powers granted by the Punjab Walled Cities and Heritage Areas Authority Act, 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nawaz Sharif, who represents the NA-130 constituency in the National Assembly, will serve as chairman of the board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
