SUKKUR:<\/strong> Chairman of the District Council Sukkur, Syed Kamil Haider Shah<\/strong>, visited the families of the victims who lost their lives in the tragic train accident that occurred on July 2<\/strong>, expressing his heartfelt condolences and assuring them of his continued support during their time of grief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The chairman met the bereaved family of retired Station House Officer (SHO) Darya Khan Jatoi<\/strong> and his brother Arab Khan Jatoi<\/strong>, who were among those killed in the railway tragedy. During the visit, Syed Kamil Haider Shah offered prayers for the departed souls and expressed sympathy to the victims\u2019 family members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He specifically met Abdul Rehman<\/strong>, the brother of the deceased, along with close relatives including Hub Ali<\/strong>, Saeed Jatoi<\/strong>, and other members of the family. The chairman prayed for the eternal peace of the deceased and for strength and patience for the grieving family to bear their irreparable loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on the occasion, Syed Kamil Haider Shah described the incident as a heartbreaking tragedy that had deeply saddened the people of Sukkur and beyond. He said the loss of precious human lives in the train accident was devastating and emphasized that such incidents should be thoroughly investigated to prevent similar tragedies in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The District Council chairman revealed that he had written a formal letter to Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi<\/strong>, demanding action against those responsible for the train accident. He stressed that accountability was essential and urged the authorities to conduct a transparent inquiry to determine the causes of the incident and ensure that any negligence was addressed in accordance with the law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He stated that those found responsible should be held accountable so that public confidence in the railway system could be restored and passenger safety improved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Syed Kamil Haider Shah also reaffirmed his commitment to standing by the bereaved family, describing them as people with whom he shares close personal ties. He assured them that every possible support and cooperation would continue in the days ahead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Our relationship with the family goes beyond official responsibilities. We will continue to stand with them and extend every possible assistance during this difficult period,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
