{"id":24284,"date":"2026-07-08T19:19:58","date_gmt":"2026-07-08T14:19:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pakjazbo.com\/?p=24284"},"modified":"2026-07-08T19:19:59","modified_gmt":"2026-07-08T14:19:59","slug":"trump-says-he-no-longer-wants-a-deal-with-iran-claims-memorandum-is-over","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pakjazbo.com\/?p=24284","title":{"rendered":"Trump Says He No Longer Wants a Deal with Iran, Claims Memorandum Is \u2018Over\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ANKARA:<\/strong> U.S. President <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong> said he no longer wants to negotiate with Iran, adding that he believes the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two sides is effectively over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking to reporters after a meeting with the <strong>NATO Secretary General<\/strong> in <strong>Ankara<\/strong>, Trump also expressed dissatisfaction with NATO over issues relating to <strong>Greenland<\/strong> and <strong>Iran<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI don&#8217;t want to make a deal with the Iranians,\u201d Trump said. \u201cI think the memorandum of understanding is over.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He further claimed that the ceasefire with Iran had ended and reiterated his administration&#8217;s position that Iran must not acquire nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIf Iran had nuclear weapons, they would use them,\u201d Trump said, adding that he did not want to \u201cwaste time\u201d negotiating with Tehran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The U.S. president also stated that American forces had carried out strikes against Iran the previous night, saying Tehran had been warned that any attack would be met with a response.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur objective is to ensure Iran does not possess nuclear capability,\u201d Trump said. \u201cWe will make sure Iran is non-nuclear.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump described Iran as a threat, alleging that it targets many people, including himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Using a medical analogy, he compared the Iran issue to cancer, saying it should be dealt with at an early stage. \u201cYou know what is done with cancer? It is cut out early.
