Polling across the region is scheduled to take place tomorrow, with political parties making their final appeals to voters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PML-N\u2019s Azma Bukhari Criticizes PTI<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari<\/strong> strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying the party is raising allegations of rigging before the elections have even taken place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) enjoys strong public support in Gilgit-Baltistan and claimed that chants of \u201cSher\u201d (lion) were being heard across the region, referring to the party\u2019s election symbol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Azma Bukhari argued that PML-N earns votes based on performance, particularly in development and infrastructure projects, while accusing rival parties of relying on criticism and negative campaigning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She further stated that PTI has limited organizational strength in the region and questioned its complaints regarding electoral campaigning restrictions, asking how the party could allege rigging without having completed candidate selection and preparations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to her, PTI\u2019s political narrative repeatedly fails in practice, and she urged opponents to contest elections on the basis of governance and performance rather than accusations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also claimed that PML-N has contributed significantly to development in Gilgit-Baltistan and pledged further improvements, saying the region would be developed on the lines of Lahore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asad Qaiser also criticized the federal government\u2019s performance, saying that rising inflation and unemployment are the result of what he described as poor economic policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
