Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast relief for Karachi residents, stating that sea breezes will resume from tomorrow and no severe heatwave is expected over the next 8 to 10 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PMD spokesperson Anjum Nazir, speaking on a TV program, said that April 12 was particularly hot in the city, with temperatures reaching 39.5\u00b0C due to northeastern winds. However, weather conditions are now shifting as sea winds begin to normalize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He explained that Karachi\u2019s average temperature is currently around 35\u00b0C and is likely to remain near this level in the coming days. With the restoration of sea breezes, the intensity of heat is expected to decrease, providing some comfort to citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anjum Nazir further stated that by April 16, temperatures may drop by 1 to 2 degrees, accompanied by cloud cover, which will further reduce the heat intensity. However, he clarified that there is currently no significant \u0938\u0902\u092d\u093e\u0935\u0928\u093e of rainfall in Karachi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He also highlighted that a western weather system will enter Pakistan from April 16, primarily affecting northern regions of the country. Areas such as Islamabad, Murree, Galiyat, and nearby regions may experience heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, and even hailstorms. Snowfall is also expected in mountainous areas during this period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
