The workshop was held under the chairmanship of <strong>Additional Controller Civil Defense Sukkur, Ameer-ud-Din Abbasi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the occasion, <strong>Deputy Chief Warden and Chief Instructor Civil Defense Sukkur, Dr. Saeed Awan<\/strong>, while training the female students, emphasized that <strong>a small precaution and proper training can prevent major disasters<\/strong>. He stressed that <strong>fire extinguishers should be mandatory in homes, offices, shops, and vehicles<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He further stated that <strong>basic training in rescue, first aid, fire safety, self-defense, and CPR has become an essential need of modern times<\/strong>, especially for girls. Fire safety training educates students about the <strong>causes of fire incidents, preventive measures, and proper use of fire extinguishers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Highlighting the importance of self-defense, he said that <strong>basic self-defense training is crucial for girls<\/strong> so they can protect themselves in situations involving harassment, misconduct, or danger. Such training plays a vital role in making girls <strong>safe, empowered, and responsible members of society<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Following the <strong>special directives of Commissioner Sukkur Division Abid Saleem Qureshi and Deputy Commissioner &amp; Controller Civil Defense Nadir Shehzad Khan<\/strong>, the District Administration Sukkur is actively conducting <strong>Civil Defense basic training programs for female students<\/strong> in universities, colleges, and schools across Sukkur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the end of the workshop, <strong>training certificates were distributed<\/strong> among the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Among those present on the occasion were <strong>Post Warden Sheikh Adnan, Muhammad Yaseen Qamar, Lala Imran Mirani, Fayyaz Ahmed, Ali Raza Qureshi, Idris Khoso<\/strong>, and others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sukkur:A comprehensive workshop on Rescue, First Aid, Fire Safety, Self-Defense, and CPR was organized at Government Girls Degree College, Sukkur, under the Safe Sukkur initiative through the joint efforts of the District Administration Sukkur and Civil Defense Sukkur.
