In his letter, he stated that as a presidential candidate, he believes that <strong>maintaining transparency in elections is a fundamental responsibility of the Bar Association<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He expressed concerns that, under the current circumstances, elections are being conducted under the supervision of an interim body, which raises several questions about fairness and credibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The letter further stated that the elected body in 2025 had already entered into an agreement with a <strong>private company<\/strong> for conducting elections through a <strong>biometric system<\/strong>, for which a substantial amount was paid. The biometric system was first tested during the <strong>Karachi Bar Association elections<\/strong>, and the same procedure is planned to be implemented for the Hyderabad Bar Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Advocate Unar, conducting elections through a biometric system would <strong>eliminate issues such as double membership<\/strong> and other irregularities. He emphasized that biometric voting ensures <strong>transparency, merit, and legal validity<\/strong>, while also helping to prevent illegal practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He also pointed out that scheduling polling in Hyderabad on <strong>February 14<\/strong> could create several problems, as <strong>District and Taluka Bar Association elections in the concerned districts are scheduled up to February 12<\/strong>, which would make it difficult for candidates to carry out effective campaign activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advocate Imdad Unar demanded that <strong>High Court Bar Association elections be conducted under the biometric system<\/strong> and that a <strong>new election date be announced<\/strong>.
