As a result of these attacks, 1,034 people were killed, reflecting a 21% rise in fatalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report states that 1,366 people were injured in terrorist incidents during 2025, indicating an alarming increase in overall human losses. Security forces and law enforcement agencies remained the primary targets of terrorism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the findings, 437 security personnel were martyred in attacks, including 174 police officers, 122 army soldiers, and 107 Frontier Corps (FC) personnel. Additionally, 354 civilians lost their lives in terrorist attacks in 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2025, 243 terrorists were killed during security operations and suicide attacks. A total of 454 terrorist attacks were carried out by militant groups, showing a significant increase compared to 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report identifies the proscribed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and its allied groups as the main perpetrators of terrorism. Active militant groups include TTP, the Hafiz Gul Bahadur Group, Lashkar-e-Islam, and ISIS-Khorasan.
