Larkana: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has called on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to abandon extremist politics, warning that if the party attacks national institutions over the arrest of its leaders or ongoing cases, it should not complain about any resulting action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking to media representatives in Larkana, Bilawal emphasized that political parties must seek political solutions to safeguard democracy. He highlighted that, given the current situation, President Asif Ali Zardari would need to play a role in bringing all political parties to a common understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bilawal reiterated that PTI should refrain from extremist politics, and if any attacks occur on national institutions, complaints about law enforcement responses would be unjustified. He stressed the need for a collective political approach to preserve democratic stability in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On electoral matters, he noted that elections are not happening quickly and that electoral reforms are essential before any new polls. Bilawal stressed that reforms should be credible and accepted by all stakeholders to ensure fairness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Regarding the economic situation, he stated that asking ordinary citizens about their financial conditions provides the true measure of the country\u2019s economic health. \u201cThe common person\u2019s response is the real test,\u201d he said, questioning whether people are experiencing economic growth.
