Karachi: Governor Sindh, Kamran Tessori, has stated that negotiations should not be held with individuals or groups who act as obstacles to Pakistan\u2019s development and national progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The remarks were made during his visit to Mazar-e-Quaid to pay tribute and offer prayers on the occasion of the 149th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. While speaking to the media, Tessori highlighted Pakistan\u2019s growing significance on the regional and global stage and emphasized the country\u2019s readiness to overcome economic challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cPakistan has become one of the most important and powerful countries in the region. We are ready for the economic battle, and with determination and effort, just as we have triumphed in past conflicts, we can succeed in economic challenges as well,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Tessori pointed out that global publications have recognized Pakistan\u2019s success and resilience, noting that the country has gained worldwide attention while India faces setbacks. He credited the clear policies and strategic vision of Pakistan\u2019s military leadership, particularly Field Marshal-level guidance, for restoring confidence and positioning Pakistan as a respected nation internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responding to a question about political negotiations, Governor Tessori said, \u201cFriends of PTI do not accept negotiations, and the person sitting in Adiala (referring to the former Prime Minister) is arrogant. Negotiations should not be conducted with those who impede Pakistan\u2019s progress.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He further emphasized Pakistan\u2019s strategic role in the region, noting that the country has acted as a protector in Saudi Arabia and has taken a firm stance on Afghanistan after many years. Tessori expressed optimism about Pakistan\u2019s economic future, stating that 2025 will be remembered as a landmark year in the country\u2019s history, with bold decisions being made to propel economic growth and national development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
