The rally started from various streets and intersections of the town and culminated in a massive demonstration at the Saen G.M. Syed Chowk, where participants chanted powerful slogans demanding justice and the immediate release of missing activists.

Protesters strongly condemned the ongoing enforced disappearances of nationalist workers such as Sarmand Mirani and Ghanee Aman Chandio, asserting that these acts represent blatant violations of human rights. The participants carried placards and banners highlighting the plight of missing persons and demanding that the authorities respect the democratic rights of Sindh’s people.

Addressing the crowd, JSQM leaders said that the illegal settlement of non-locals in Sindh and the registration of false cases against nationalist workers are part of a deliberate plan to suppress the genuine struggle of the Sindhi people. They emphasized that such tactics aim to weaken the morale of those who raise their voices for Sindh’s identity, resources, and rights, but these efforts would ultimately fail.

The leaders accused the government and security agencies of using coercive measures to silence dissent. They argued that while the state claims to promote democracy, the abduction and harassment of peaceful political activists prove otherwise. According to them, the enforced disappearances not only violate basic human rights but also deepen the sense of alienation among the people of Sindh.

Protesters demanded the immediate release of missing activists including Sarmand Mirani, Ghanee Aman Chandio, and others, and called for an end to all fabricated cases against nationalist workers. They said that if such injustices continue, Sindh’s nationalist movement will only grow stronger and the voices demanding autonomy will become louder.

The rally witnessed participation from various political, social, and student organizations across the district. Among the prominent participants were Muhabbat Khan Shambhani, Ustad Mukhtiar Bhatti, Nazaqat Bhatti, student leaders Bilawal Bhatti, and Tayyab Mangi, along with many other local activists. Their presence added strength and solidarity to the protest.

Speakers reiterated that Sindh’s resources, identity, and rights belong to the Sindhi people, and any form of exploitation or discrimination will not be tolerated. They vowed to continue their peaceful struggle for the province’s political and cultural rights despite state repression.

The demonstration concluded with the participants pledging unity among nationalist forces and reaffirming their commitment to the vision of Saen G.M. Syed, the founder of the Sindhi nationalist movement. They vowed that the struggle for Sindh’s freedom, dignity, and justice would continue until every missing worker is safely returned and every act of injustice is held accountable.

FaqirabadThe Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) Faqirabad unit organized a large protest rally against the illegal settlement of outsiders in Sindh and the enforced disappearances of Sindhi nationalist activists.
