The meeting focused on strategies to contain the spread of dengue and to ensure immediate response mechanisms across the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting was attended by <strong>Additional Deputy Commissioners Kashif Raza Mangi<\/strong>, all <strong>Assistant Commissioners<\/strong>, <strong>District Health Officer Dr. Zahoor Ahmed Abbasi<\/strong>, <strong>District Malaria Focal Person Dr. Salahuddin<\/strong>, <strong>Chief Municipal Officers<\/strong>, <strong>Town Officers<\/strong>, and representatives from various departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the session, DC <strong>Yasir Bhatti<\/strong> announced that a <strong>24-hour active Dengue Control Room<\/strong> had been established at the <strong>Deputy Commissioner\u2019s Office, Badin<\/strong>, for timely reporting and rapid response to dengue cases. The control room\u2019s contact number is <strong>0297-920022<\/strong>. He also directed the <strong>District Health Officer<\/strong> to set up a similar <strong>24\/7 control room within the Health Department<\/strong> to ensure real-time monitoring and swift action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Deputy Commissioner instructed all <strong>Chief Municipal and Town Officers<\/strong> to conduct <strong>regular fumigation drives<\/strong> in both urban and rural areas and to identify potential mosquito breeding hotspots, particularly where stagnant water accumulates.
