PTI Chairman <strong>Barrister Gohar Ali Khan<\/strong> confirmed that the party is preparing to field its candidates as a direct response to the vacancies, underscoring that PTI will continue to assert its political presence in parliament despite ongoing legal and political challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking in an official statement, Barrister Gohar revealed that the decision to participate in the by-elections was taken after consultation with PTI founder <strong>Imran Khan<\/strong>, who remains the central figure influencing major political strategies of the party. According to him, Omar Ayub\u2019s constituency will now see his wife contesting the by-election.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt is the decision of PTI\u2019s founder, Imran Khan Sahib, that the wife of Omar Ayub will run for elections on the seat vacated after his disqualification,\u201d stated Gohar.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The announcement comes as PTI continues to struggle with what it calls unjust disqualifications of its leadership \u2014 a situation that, the party argues, is intended to politically marginalise PTI through legal means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Legal Battle Continues: Four Petitions Pending in the Supreme Court<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Barrister Gohar further highlighted that the disqualification issue is far from resolved. He pointed out that <strong>four separate petitions<\/strong> challenging the disqualifications of Omar Ayub and Shibli Faraz have been filed before the Supreme Court of Pakistan, yet none of them have been taken up for hearing so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe have already filed four appeals in the Supreme Court against the disqualification.
