As a result of the altercation, <strong>four members of the Kanjho community<\/strong>, including <strong>two women<\/strong>, sustained serious injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to local sources, those injured were identified as <strong>Rabbo Nawaz Kanjho, Mai Rani, Mai Haseena, and Abdul Razzaq<\/strong>. Despite their critical condition, the victims allege that the police <strong>refused to issue medical letters<\/strong>, preventing them from receiving proper medical treatment. The injured individuals, along with their family members, later staged a <strong>protest at the Daharki Press Club<\/strong> against both the police and hospital authorities, demanding justice and immediate medical assistance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rabbo Nawaz Kanjho, one of the victims, claimed that the <strong>attackers were influential individuals<\/strong>, identified as <strong>Majeed, Irshad, and others<\/strong>, who stormed into their home armed with sticks and assaulted family members, including the women. \u201cMajeed entered the house directly and beat the women mercilessly with sticks. Despite this, the police have not taken any action or even referred us to the hospital for medical care,\u201d Rabbo Nawaz said while addressing the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eyewitnesses from the village confirmed that the fight broke out suddenly when both groups argued over the <strong>ownership and use of a narrow street<\/strong> that passes between their homes. The verbal dispute quickly turned violent, resulting in injuries to both men and women. Neighbors intervened to separate the groups, but by then, several people had already been wounded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Residents of Bahu Kanjho village expressed anger over what they described as <strong>biased behavior by the local police<\/strong>, alleging that officers were under the influence of the powerful individuals involved in the incident. \u201cThe attackers are well-connected and have strong political backing, which is why the police are turning a blind eye,\u201d said a villager while speaking to reporters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The injured were eventually taken to a local healthcare center through the help of community members, but they continue to demand that authorities take <strong>legal action<\/strong> against the perpetrators and provide them with proper <strong>medical and legal support<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The victims have also appealed to <strong>senior police officials<\/strong> and <strong>human rights organizations<\/strong> to intervene, ensuring that the culprits are apprehended and the victims receive justice. They emphasized that despite repeated complaints, no <strong>FIR (First Information Report)<\/strong> has been registered, and police officers continue to ignore their pleas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This incident has once again highlighted the <strong>growing influence of local power groups<\/strong> and the <strong>lack of police accountability<\/strong> in rural areas, where victims often struggle to obtain justice. Civil society activists in Daharki have called for an impartial inquiry into the case and strict disciplinary action against officers who failed to perform their duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, sources within the police department stated that an internal review of the matter is underway and that action will be taken once the medical reports of the injured are received.
