Speaking to the media in Sheikhupura, the federal minister condemned the resurgence of terrorist activities and called for national unity against both external and internal threats to Pakistan\u2019s stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rana Tanveer stated that Pakistan had repeatedly warned the Afghan government to take concrete action against terrorist groups and the faction known as <em>Fitna al-Khawarij<\/em>, which continue to operate along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. \u201cWe told Afghanistan time and again to stop these terrorists, to eliminate their sanctuaries, but they did not act. The banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) continues to find refuge across the border,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that despite Pakistan\u2019s diplomatic efforts and sacrifices, Kabul failed to curb the activities of extremists, resulting in repeated cross-border attacks and loss of Pakistani lives. \u201cWhen Afghanistan did not fulfill its promises, these groups found new life,\u201d he noted, emphasizing that the Pakistani state will not tolerate those who enable or support terrorism under any pretext.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rana Tanveer further criticized India for its aggression, calling recent cross-border strikes a continuation of New Delhi\u2019s \u201chabit of fabricating lies and manufacturing accusations.\u201d He said Pakistan is responding through legal and diplomatic means, backed by undeniable evidence. \u201cIndia launched an attack based on false claims, but Pakistan is pursuing the matter with evidence and will act firmly in defense of its sovereignty,\u201d he asserted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The minister accused certain political factions of aligning themselves, knowingly or unknowingly, with anti-state forces. \u201cSome political parties have unfortunately become tools of Pakistan\u2019s enemies. Their actions and narratives serve the interests of those who seek to weaken the country,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Referring specifically to PTI\u2019s founder, he remarked, \u201cImran Khan has become a facilitator of terrorists. The terrorist network that Pakistan had successfully dismantled is being revived through political chaos and anti-state rhetoric. The nation must recognize the difference between democratic dissent and direct facilitation of those who shed innocent blood.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rana Tanveer also weighed in on the ongoing political situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, urging lawmakers to reject divisive and extremist elements. \u201cThe nominated Chief Minister of KP should not succeed if democracy is to survive,\u201d he stated. \u201cIf PTI members claim to be independent, they must distance themselves from individuals and ideologies that support militancy and foreign agendas.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the economic front, the federal minister expressed optimism, assuring the nation of positive developments in the coming months. \u201cThe people will soon hear good news about the economy,\u201d he said. \u201cThe government is taking strong and sustainable steps toward recovery and investment. Punjab\u2019s initiative to facilitate Saudi investors is a prime example of the confidence that friendly nations have in Pakistan\u2019s economic potential.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rana Tanveer emphasized that the coalition government is working with full commitment to stabilize the economy, strengthen internal security, and restore global trust in Pakistan. \u201cWe have faced many challenges \u2014 from terrorism to economic pressure \u2014 but Pakistan is on the right path under responsible leadership. The days of political drama and chaos are over; now is the time for unity, responsibility, and progress,\u201d he concluded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The minister\u2019s remarks come amid heightened political tensions and renewed security concerns in the wake of militant attacks near the Afghan border.
