A large number of employees participated in the demonstration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The protest was led by Khalil Ahmed Domki, Shujaat Hussain Ghumro, Javed Ahmed Abbasi, Abdul Khaliq Sawand, Aqeel Ahmed Dayo, Abdul Malik Soomro, Nazar Memon, Ramzan Malik, Abid Hussain Gopang, and other leaders. Employees from Sukkur Zone and Ghotki Zone, including all office-bearers, GSC, GSO, M&amp;T, Computer, FD, S&amp;I, Field Store, Training Center, RO Office, Circle, all divisions, and sub-divisions, participated in large numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the protest, leaders addressed the government and SEPCO administration, demanding an immediate halt to WAPDA\u2019s privatization, warning that it would affect thousands of employees and their families. They called for permanent employment for contract and daily-wage workers, salary and allowance adjustments in line with inflation, prompt resolution of promotions and time-scale issues, and timely payment of dues to retired employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leaders also demanded full safety equipment for field workers and improved medical facilities for employees and their families.
