Leaders Condemn Silence of Human Rights Bodies

While addressing the media, the leaders expressed deep concern and outrage over the continued enforced disappearances in Sindh. They said:
“Today, the world is observing International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances, yet unfortunately in Sindh, nationalist activists continue to be abducted and forcibly disappeared. What is even more painful is that international human rights organizations have remained silent on this critical issue, which is sheer injustice.”

The speakers emphasized that the struggle of Sindh’s oppressed people is not one of hostility but of justice. They clarified:
“We do not seek enmity with anyone. Our only demand is the safe recovery of our missing loved ones and the recognition of their fundamental human rights.”

Mass Participation in the Protest

The protest camp witnessed a large turnout of political workers, students, and local citizens. Many participants carried placards and banners inscribed with slogans condemning enforced disappearances and demanding justice. Chants against the practice echoed across the National Highway, drawing the attention of travelers and symbolizing the widespread frustration among Sindh’s people.

Call for United Struggle

JSQM leaders urged all Sindhi nationalist forces and civil society to unite against enforced disappearances, stressing that only through a collective struggle could their demands be achieved. They reiterated that the purpose of their movement is not confrontation but the restoration of justice, freedom, and dignity for the victims and their families.

The demonstration concluded with a pledge to continue peaceful protests until all missing persons are recovered, reflecting the unshaken resolve of Sindh’s people in their quest for justice.
